The Short Version
- Everything here is for education and information. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
- Trading, especially in small-cap and low-float stocks, is high risk. You can lose all of the money you put in, and sometimes more.
- Nothing here guarantees a profit. Past examples, including mine, do not predict future results.
- I trade my own money. I may hold positions in stocks I talk about, and I may sell at any time. Please don't copy my trades.
- The software relies on third-party data and automated tools. They can be late, wrong or unavailable.
- You make your own decisions, and you are responsible for them.
01About This Page
The Long Hustle is a one-person business. On this page, "I", "me" and "my" mean The Long Hustle, and "you" means anyone who visits this website or uses any of my products and services: the scanners and dashboard software, the live stream (including Morning Momentum), the live chat, the course and the case studies. Together I call these the "Services".
This page explains the limits of what I offer and the risks you take on when you trade. It is separate from the terms that cover purchases, cancellations and how I handle your personal data.
02Education and Information Only
Everything in the Services is provided for educational, informational and entertainment purposes. It shows how I approach one particular style of trading, and it gives you tools to research stocks for yourself.
None of it is investment advice, trading advice, financial advice, tax advice, accounting advice or legal advice. None of it is a recommendation, an offer or an invitation to buy, sell or hold any security, or to follow any strategy.
I don't know your finances, your goals, your experience or how much loss you can tolerate. Nothing I say or show takes your personal situation into account, so something that suits me may be completely unsuitable for you.
I am not authorised or regulated as an investment adviser or broker by the UK Financial Conduct Authority, the US Securities and Exchange Commission, or any other financial regulator, and I don't provide regulated investment services.
Before you trade, consider speaking to an independent, licensed financial professional who knows your circumstances.
03Trading Is High Risk
Buying and selling securities is speculative, and day trading is one of the hardest ways to do it. You can lose some or all of the money you put in. If you use margin, leverage or short selling, your losses can be larger than the money you deposited.
- Only trade with money you can afford to lose completely. Never use money you need for rent, a mortgage, debts, tax, retirement or your family.
- Studies of day traders have repeatedly found that most of them lose money, and that a small minority make most of the profit. Becoming consistently profitable usually takes a long time, strict discipline and a lot of losing trades along the way.
- Thirty years of experience does not make trading safe, for me or for anyone else. I have losing trades and losing days like every trader.
- Broker rules, account requirements, margin and the products available to you depend on where you live and which broker you use. Check yours before you trade.
04Small-Cap, Low-Float and Penny Stock Risks
The stocks my Services focus on, typically priced between $1 and $10 with a low float and a sharp move, are among the riskiest in the market. The risks include:
- Extreme volatility. Prices can move many percent in seconds and reverse just as fast. A stock that is up 100% can give most of it back within minutes.
- Thin liquidity and wide spreads. There may be few shares available, so you may not be able to buy or sell at the price you see, or at all. Spreads can widen suddenly, and orders can fill at much worse prices than you expected (slippage).
- Trading halts. A stock can be halted without warning, for volatility, pending news or other reasons, and a halt can last a long time. You cannot sell while a stock is halted, and it can reopen far away from where it stopped.
- Dilution. Small companies often raise money by issuing new shares, warrants or convertible securities, sometimes straight after a big price rise. That can send the price down sharply. My Case Studies page includes an example of this.
- Reverse splits, delistings and going-concern warnings, all of which are more common in this part of the market.
- Promotion and manipulation. Low-priced, thinly traded stocks are a common target for paid promotion and for pump-and-dump schemes, and the information available about these companies can be limited or unreliable.
- Gaps. A stock can open far above or below where it closed, so you may not be able to exit at the price you planned.
- Short selling. Selling short carries the risk of losses without a limit, and shares can become hard or expensive to borrow.
05Pre-Market and Extended-Hours Trading
Much of what I do happens before the regular session opens. Extended-hours trading is different from regular trading: there are fewer participants, less liquidity, wider spreads and more volatile prices. Some order types may not be available, and the price in pre-market can be very different from the price at the open. A move driven by news can reverse completely when the main session begins. Your broker may limit or not support extended-hours trading.
06The Software: Scanners, Scores and Data
My software is a research and information tool. It currently includes Predictive Intelligence, the Momentum Radar and the News Feed. Please keep the following in mind:
- Nothing it shows is a signal, a prediction or a recommendation. A ticker appearing on a scanner, a high score, a flame icon, a Bullish label or an alert sound does not mean the price will rise. Most flagged stocks do not make a significant move.
- "Predictive" describes what the method aims to do, which is to gather early signals such as filings and insider activity. It is not a promise of any outcome. A high score means that more of the signals I look for were present, nothing more.
- The Momentum Radar is a preset filter. It applies fixed criteria that you cannot change. It will leave out stocks that matter to you, and it will show stocks that don't suit you.
- The Services rely on data from outside providers and public sources, including market data, news, regulatory filings and company information. I don't control that data and I can't guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current. It can be delayed, wrong, missing or revised later. Figures such as float, shares outstanding, volume, relative volume and the type of security are particularly prone to error. Always check the facts on your broker platform and in official sources before you act.
- Software can fail. There can be bugs, outages, connection problems, data provider downtime and missed or late alerts, and the software may show out-of-date data without warning. Don't rely on it as your only tool, and don't assume an alert will always sound.
- The software is under development. Features described on this site, including planned ones, may change, be delayed or never be released. Statements about plans are intentions, not commitments.
- Screenshots and examples may come from test or development versions, and the figures in them may not be exact. Where an example is only illustrative, I try to say so.
- What you see, and when you see it, also depends on your own computer, internet connection and broker platform. I am not responsible for delays on your side.
07AI-Generated Content
Parts of the software, including the plain-English summaries of headlines, the Bullish and Bearish labels and some of the scoring, may be produced with automated tools, including AI language models. These tools can misread text, miss context, state wrong things with confidence and give different answers to the same input. Treat them as a convenience that helps you read faster, not as analysis. The link to the original source is there so that you can read it for yourself.
08The Live Stream and Chat
- What I say on the live stream and in the chat is commentary and my own opinion, shared for education. When I say I'm entering a position or taking a profit, I am describing what I am doing in my own account. I am not telling you to do the same.
- Please don't copy my trades. By the time you see or hear something, the price has moved. My fills will differ from yours, and so will my position size, risk limits, experience and exit plan. I may exit without notice, and I am not obliged to tell you when or why.
- I will try to make clear whether a trade is live or a demonstration, but I am not obliged to show or disclose every trade, and what you see is not a complete record of my trading.
- My results are not typical. I have thirty years of experience, I trade full time, and I use tools I built myself. Don't expect to get similar results.
- Messages in the chat come from other members. They are their own opinions, not mine. I don't check them and I don't endorse them. Members may hold positions in the stocks they talk about, and they may have their own reasons for saying what they say.
- I will never ask you for your brokerage login, your passwords, or money so that I can trade for you. Anyone who does, in my name, is not me. Be careful with direct messages from people you don't know.
09The Course and Learning Materials
- The course is educational. It reflects my own experience, methods and opinions, and there are other valid ways to trade.
- Finishing the course, passing the quizzes or receiving a certificate shows that you completed the material. It does not mean you will be profitable, and it is not a professional qualification or a licence.
- Markets and regulations change, so some of the content may go out of date.
10Case Studies, Examples and Past Performance
- The case studies on this site are real examples that appeared on my scanners, written up after the event and shown for education. They are a selection. They are not a complete record, and they are not a performance record of the software or of any trading account.
- I aim to show what worked and what didn't, but I choose what to include and how to describe it, and I may miss cases.
- When a case study says something "worked", it means the stock made a move that a scalper might have been able to trade, for example a rise of 20% or more. It does not mean anyone made money, that the move could have been captured, or that you would have traded it. Charts are read with hindsight, and hindsight makes everything look easier than it is.
- Charts and annotations are mine. Screenshots may come from third-party platforms or from versions of the software that were still in testing, and figures may not be exact.
- Past performance, mine or anyone else's, is not a guide to future results.
- Results based on back-testing or simulation, including my own testing of the criteria behind the Momentum Radar, have built-in limits. They are prepared with hindsight. They leave out real-world factors such as commissions, slippage, partial fills, halts and emotion, and no simulated record can show how you would behave with real money at stake.
- If I share feedback or results from members, they reflect those individuals' own experiences. They are not typical, and I can't verify anyone's trading results.
11My Own Trading and Conflicts of Interest
- I am an active trader. I may own or trade any stock I discuss, show or see flagged by my scanners, before, during or after I talk about it, and in accounts that I don't disclose. I may sell at any time, including while I am discussing it or straight afterwards.
- My interests can differ from yours. When many people buy a thinly traded stock, the price can spike for a short time, which can give existing holders someone to sell to. Be aware that this can work against you.
- I do not accept payment from companies to feature their stocks. If that ever changes, I will say so clearly.
- I trade my own methods, and what I do on a given day may differ from what I teach.
- I don't manage money for anyone else, and I don't place trades for anyone else.
12Taxes, Legal and Accounting
How trading profits and losses are taxed depends on where you live and on your circumstances. I don't give tax, legal or accounting advice. Please speak to a qualified professional.
13Third Parties: Brokers, Data Providers, Payments and Links
- Payments and memberships are handled by third-party platforms, currently Whop. Their terms and privacy policies apply to what they handle, and I am not responsible for their service.
- I may mention or link to data providers, news sources, brokers and charting platforms. That is not an endorsement, and unless I say so I am not affiliated with them. Their services, rules and fees apply, and I don't control their content or availability.
- Choosing a broker is your decision. Fees, order types, extended-hours access and the rules you must follow differ from one broker to the next.
- If you follow a link to another website, you do so at your own risk.
14Where You Live
The Services are intended for adults aged 18 or over, and the content focuses on US-listed stocks. Laws about trading, financial promotions and investment services differ from country to country, and some products or activities may be restricted where you are. You are responsible for finding out about, and following, the rules that apply to you. I may limit access to the Services in any country or to any person where I think that is appropriate.
15No Guarantees, and Limits on My Responsibility
- The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". I don't promise that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, complete or suitable for your purposes, and I can't promise any particular result or profit.
- You use the Services entirely at your own risk, and you decide for yourself whether and how to trade. To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not responsible for losses or costs you suffer as a result of your trading decisions, of relying on the Services, or of errors, delays, outages or interruptions in data or software.
- Nothing on this page excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence. If you are a consumer, this page does not affect your legal rights under the law where you live.
16Your Acknowledgement
