What I'm Working On.

The Long Hustle is never finished. This page shows what's being built next, and where it honestly stands today.

A Scanner That Learns From Its Own Track Record

Every ticker the scanners flag gets recorded, along with what it looked like at that moment: the type of filing, the price, the float, the volume. Then I record what happened next, whether it ran or went nowhere. The winners and the flops both go in the record.

Over time, that record becomes something I can study. Which setups tended to run? Which looked exciting and then fizzled? How often? The goal is to put honest odds next to a setup, based on real history rather than gut feeling.

  • The filing or event behind each flag (a 6-K, a Form 4, a Reg SHO threshold, and so on)
  • Price, float, volume, and relative volume at the time
  • Which scanners it appeared on, and when
  • What happened next: the high of the day, the close, and whether it reached 20%+

Where it stands today: early days. I'm building the record now, and it will take a few months of data before it can say anything worth trusting. When it's ready, I plan to bring it into the software, and I'll share what I find right here.

What it isn't: a signal service, or a promise of profits. Past patterns don't guarantee future results, and a pattern that looks strong can stop working. It's a research tool to help you see the odds more clearly.
