Live Stream

Inside the Live Stream.

I trade the pre-market and the open live, with the scanners on screen and my reasoning out loud. Here's what that looks like, and just as importantly, what it isn't.

01What You Can Expect

The live stream starts at 7 a.m. ET and runs until approximately 10 a.m. ET. That window takes in the end of the pre-market, the opening bell and the first stretch of regular trading — the part of the morning where the low-float, small-cap momentum I trade tends to come alive.

On screen you'll see a 1-minute or 5-minute chart alongside the scanners and the software, so you're looking at the same things I'm looking at, at the same moment I'm looking at them. Nothing is replayed and nothing is tidied up afterwards.

During the stream I usually take one or two trades. I narrate as I go: why a setup caught my eye, what I need to see before I act, where I'm wrong, and why I get out when I do. I'll also tell you what I'm waiting for in between. The live chat is open throughout, so you can join in, ask questions, and watch the thinking unfold as it happens.

02Why Only One or Two Trades?

Because my whole philosophy is built around consistency and risk management. I know, and have watched, plenty of traders who do what I do. Some are successful; most aren't. A lot of them take trade after trade after trade. Some talk about building a cushion on the first trade so they can lean in heavier on the next, and so on down the line.

My style differs somewhat. I prefer to play it as safe as possible. Over the years I've noticed that many scalpers give back the profits from their first or second trade because they insist on entering more. Without question, it's a minefield out there, and every extra trade is another chance for the market, or your own emotions, to hand the morning back.

So once I'm profitable, I tend to walk away, so to speak. That keeps my consistency in check, and it boosts my morale for the following day's session. A trader who finishes the morning calm tends to start the next one calm.

"I'm a big believer in 'Less Is More' when it comes to trading."

03The Software, Live

The scanners stay on screen the whole time, and the stream is where I talk them through. I'll go over the tickers appearing on the Predictive Intelligence scanner, pick out the ones I believe could make their way onto the Momentum Radar, and explain why: the filing behind it, the catalyst, the float, how the volume is behaving.

Watching a stock go from “worth keeping an eye on” to “now it's moving” is the heart of how the system is designed to work, and it's far easier to understand when someone is narrating it as it happens. To be clear, these are my opinions on what might happen next, not predictions. Sometimes I'll be wrong, and you'll see that too.

04Learning Along the Way

The session also includes verbal lessons, woven in around the live action rather than saved up for a lecture. Because they come out of real situations on the screen, they're easier to remember than anything off a slide. Here's what I cover:

  • How to scalpWhat I look for, how I think about a fast-moving small cap, and how a scalp differs from a longer hold.
  • Position sizingHow much to risk, and how to size a trade so that no single one can do real damage.
  • Entries and exitsWhere and when to get in, and where and when to get out, whether the trade is working or not.
  • Risk managementMost importantly of all. It gets the most airtime for a reason: it is the difference between a bad morning and a blown account.

Please Read: This Is Not a Signal Service

The live stream is not a signal service. I'm not telling you what to buy or sell, and you shouldn't copy my trades.

Following my trades could result in losses. You may enter at a different moment than I do, even by a few seconds, and in this corner of the market a few seconds can be the difference between a gain and a loss. You may also not yet have the emotional control and risk management in place that this style of trading demands, and that's perfectly normal at your particular point in your trading journey or career. I've been doing this for thirty years, and what you see on screen reflects that.

So please treat the live stream as a regrouping session focused on the software. You'll have access to the scanners along with the educational content, so use the stream to see how they read a live market, hear the thinking behind what I'm watching, and sharpen how you use them for your own plan and your own decisions.

Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Please read the full Disclaimer before you use anything on this site.
