Privacy Policy
This page explains what information The Long Hustle collects when you use this website, why I collect it, and what choices you have. I have tried to keep it in plain English.
Who I am
The Long Hustle, including the Morning Momentum live stream, is run by Steven Mylonas, based in the United Kingdom. I am the person responsible for your information (the “data controller”). You can contact me at REPLACE-WITH-REAL-EMAIL@thelonghustle.com.
What I collect, and why
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist. I also record that you ticked the box to agree. I use it to email you about the launch date, when the doors open, and the occasional update on how the build is going. I do this because you asked me to. It is stored with the services I use to run the website and send emails.
- Website visit information, only if you accept. If you click Accept on the cookie message, I use Google Analytics to see which pages get visited, how people find the site, roughly where in the world visitors are, and what device and browser they use. I use this to improve the site, not to identify you. If you click Decline, Google Analytics does not load and sets no cookies.
- Purchases and accounts. When the live stream, software or course is on sale, payments and memberships are handled by Whop. Whop takes your payment and runs your account. I never see or store your card details. I can see basic details Whop shares with me, such as your name, your email address and what you have bought, so that I can look after members. Whop has its own privacy policy.
- Emails you send me. If you write to me, I keep your message and my reply so that I can help you.
- Technical records. Like most websites, the company that hosts this site (Netlify) records technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, to keep the site secure and running.
Links to other services
This site links to my Telegram channel, WhatsApp channel and YouTube channel. If you follow or subscribe, that happens on their service and under their rules. What I can see about my followers is limited by what each service allows.
Cookies and your choice
The only cookies that are not essential are the Google Analytics ones, and they are only used after you click Accept. Your choice is saved in your browser so that the message does not keep coming back. To change your mind, clear this site’s data in your browser settings, and the message will appear again.
Who I share it with
I do not sell your information, and I do not give it to anyone for their own marketing. I use a few services to run the site, and they handle your information for me: Netlify (hosting and the waitlist form), Google (analytics, only if you accept), Whop (payments and memberships), and the email service I use to send updates. Some of these services are based in, or process information in, the United States or other countries outside the UK. They use recognised safeguards when they do.
How long I keep it
- Waitlist emails: until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete your address, or until I no longer need the list.
- Emails you send me: for as long as I need them to help you, and then I delete them.
- Analytics data: for the period set in my Google Analytics settings.
- Purchase records: for as long as the law requires me to keep them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, ask me to limit or stop using it, and take back any consent you have given. Every update email I send includes a way to unsubscribe. To use any of your rights, email me at REPLACE-WITH-REAL-EMAIL@thelonghustle.com.
If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk. I would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Children
This site is for adults. It is not aimed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this page
If I change this policy, I will update the date at the top. If the change is a big one, I will tell the people on the waitlist.
